The EEIBA is the only charity to help those in hardship or distress who work, or have worked in the electrical and electronics industry. The charity offers help and assistance to all age groups, from the youngest child to the oldest pensioner, anywhere in the United Kingdom and Northern Ireland. Our support is also extended to dependants.
Over the last 100 years, the charity has assisted people from all backgrounds and age groups from all over the United Kingdom.
The EEIBA provides support in a number of ways, examples of which include:
With the support of a network of hardworking Regional Committees across the UK (all of which are unpaid volunteers) - the EEIBA organises a wide range of events to raise vital funds for the charity. Our events range from Fun-days and Golf Days to Business Luncheons, Casino's and Black Tie Dinners.
The industries' support is essential to ensure the important work of the EEIBA continues. This allows the charity to help those who have fallen on hard times. The EEIBA's caseworkers are there to provide practical assistance. While financial support is central to helping those in need, the charity also provides practical advise and support or just a listening ear.
The EEIBA is your charity and by supporting this worthwhile cause YOU have the "Power to make a difference".
