Press Release

The EEIBA are happy to announce that Brother intends to make a quarterly contribution to the EEIBA from proceeds of the sales of their professional electronic printers (PT-7100 and PT-7600), as part of their continued commitment to corporate responsibility. Mike Kelly, Head of Identification for Brother in the UK said, "We really admire the work of the EEIBA, they are the only charity assisting those within the electrical industry during times of need. Their commitment to sustainability within the area of welfare matches our own commitment to sustainability - environmental, social and economic."

In 2011 Brother achieved The Queen's Award for Enterprise: Sustainable Development, which recognises businesses across the UK that make a positive impact on the environment, society and the wider economy, through the products and services they sell and the way they run their businesses. Brother will hold this award until 2016, in recognition of their work with local communities, charities, businesses and employees.

Claire Beresford, Corporate Fundraising Manager from the EEIBA commented that, "It is marvellous that Brother has decided to partner with the EEIBA in their effors to support the electrical industry. The link with Brother will help the EEIBA raise awareness within the industry of the work carried out by the charity, so that electrical wholesalers and contractors know where to turn when they need help."
