The EEIBA National Golf Championships took place on 28.06.2012 at Woburn Golf Club. With 17 teams of four contesting the day for the Lord Thorneycroft Trophy (team event) and the JHC Brooking Cup (individual event), players had the opportunity to play golf amongst the beautiful setting of the 18 hole Dukes Course.
The day started with a breakfast buffet on arrival followed by tea and coffee and the weather kept it's promise and stayed hot and dry throughout the day. Schneider Electric provided the players with sport packs to assist with the play.
The 'Halfway House' provided the players with the opportunity to take a break and rehydrate with some refreshing drinks and snacks.

Of course, no golf event is complete without some fun competitions and on the day these were longest drive, nearest the pin and yellow ball. All winners received some fabulous Woburn golf sets and prizes.
The day concluded with dinner and prizegiving in the Clubhouse followed by a silent auction and raffle.
